I had the original closed-off kitchen from 1968 in my home (but for a few replacement appliances), including turquoise formica counters that were separating, and have wanted to upgrade for years. I am a complete novice at this, but had I looked at idea books, read numerous articles for an online education, checked out big box stores for cabinets, and went to a couple of other kitchen centers. I was still unable to find anything that could both move me and fit my tight, old fashioned space. Then I Liza, and everything changed. Liza was filled with ideas, each one more intriguing than the last. Design was interactive, with Liza talking with me to find out what mattered to me, and designing around those wants, but always adding her experience to tell me what was needed as well. Finally, a wall was removed, other walls were closed off, appliances and fixtures were repositioned to make an efficient and beautiful space. My kitchen is now open to my living room, filled floor to ceiling with beautiful cabinets, and it makes me happy to cook there or just enjoy coffee in. And it was all Liza, who is absolutely fantastic at her job. Liza is incredibly creative, visited my home on several occasions - originally to evaluate the space and environment rather than just the dimensions, and a number of times thereafter to assure everything was going "just so" on the installation. Liza instructed on even the smallest detail, such as the precise placement of the cabinetry hardware. She treats each job as if it's her own space being improved, and has the experience to know what works. Liza led this novice into a dream kitchen. I could not recommend anyone higher. She is the ultimate kitchen professional.

I met Liza of Lush Kitchens and we immediately hit it off. She was very professional and really made the entire process of selecting cabinetry, color, and a countertop very easy and fun. The outcome of the project is absolutely gorgeous! We also have asthma in my family and low or no VOC was a must, she was so understanding. She only sells high quality products....

I could not be more delighted writing a review than this one for Liza Sobhani of Lush Kitchens.  While I am tempted to provide every one of the compliments I have for Liza, I'll try to be brief.  A few months ago Liza completed both my kitchen and master bath renovation.  This is the third kitchen I have redone and the fourth or fifth bathroom.  I have never worked with anyone so talented as Liza -- she knows her products inside and out, she listens to everything you say and then she incorporates (or removes) it from the design.  She is beyond pleasant -- she is totally responsive and hands down the best designer I have ever worked with.  On top of that, she asks for your working budget up front and then stays within that budget.  I would never go to anyone else for cabinetry design of any kind, whether for a kitchen or bath design -- or a mud room.  Liza works miracles!!  I'm in an industry where I provide my customers with recommendations for every kind of home improvement and repair and her firm has become the only Kitchen & Bath Design firm I refer.  P.S.  If there were a 10-star rating, Liza would receive that!
